Our wedding ceremony will take place at St. Remigius Church, Long Clawson, between 11.30-12.30, on Saturday 30th July.

The church originates from around the 14th century, and even contains an effigy of the crusader William Bozan! The church has a set of 8 church bells, which will be rung for our ceremony, and we politely ask you to stay well clear of the bell ringers when they are in action, as it is dangerous to get too close!

Bubbles will be handed out, to be used as confetti after the ceremony (if you can wait that long…).

RECEPTION

After the wedding ceremony has finished, we invite you to join us round the corner at the Long Clawson Village Hall, for a ludicrous day of eating, drinking and making merry!

We’ll be serving a buffet lunch, including a roast hog (but with vegetarian options too). There’ll be cake and speeches, games and singing, and even a dress-up photo booth! If you fancy something a bit quieter, you could always take a walk through the village (weather permitting) or play in the children’s playground near by.

Be sure to be back at 6pm for a light supper, or at 7pm for the opening dance of our Wedding Ceilidh. We expect to go on until about 10pm.
