- LADY OF HONOR -

Tash Elliot – Lady of Honour, mezzo-soprano extraordinaire and creator of exceedingly good cakes. Tash was the 3rd Lady to Janet’s Queen of the Night, the sexy Maddelena to her Gilda, and the manly Figaro to her Susanna. They also see to spend copious amounts of time shopping together and drinking prosecco.

AUDREY AMELIA

- BRAIN TRIPLET -

Nuno Atalaia – Bridesman, Flute and Recorder player, ensemble leader, Baritone and all-round Brianiac. Nuno and Janet met at the Royal Conservatoire, the Hague, where they had hilarious fun playing recorders together – this, in turn, involved being birds, getting stuck on busses, kicking chickens and stroking salmon. Since then, they have shared a single braincell, along with the third party Alex Fleischman.

CLARA NATALIE

- Orgelspellende Kakkerlak -

Dorien Schouten – Mistress of the Keys, Pipes and Pedals. Dorien and Janet met on their first day at the Hague Conservatoire, and taught Janet to say the most useful Dutch phrase ever to exist – “Ik heb twee vlechten in mijn haar” (I have two braids in my hair). Since then, they have both travelled a lot, but still somehow find time to perform concerts together, one of which involved shooting a train with champagne.

- CAT SOPRANO -

Kat Carson – Bridesmaid, awesome soprano, maker of the best pancakes in the entire world. Kat and Janet study with the same singing teacher, the wise and awesome Penny Jenkins. They have spent large amounts of time seducing each other on stage, or else mioawing violently to music of the classical period.

ALICE STELLA

- WINDPLAYER-IN-ARMS -

Ellie Robertson – Fabulous Recorder and Oboe Player, Survivor of the TritonE Apocalypse, Maker of Reeds and Reader of Maps. Ellie and Janet met briefly as teenagers, but their friendship really took off when they formed a (now ex-)trio, Tritone, in 2012. Janet repeatedly got the group lost whenever there was a concert, and Ellie was the lady in shining armour who got them back on course again! They even survived a Scottish tour, including the rabid, shouty Airport Guard at 7am in Aberdeen Airport!
